As you know, the original CRIPCO white paper had a dual-token model where IP3 is the utility token and IPD is the governance token.
Recently, having discussed the single-token and dual-token models internally within our team, with a team of advisors, and with some of our most avid supporters, we came to a conclusion that for better ecosystem scalability, usability, and just for greater fun, the single-token model is more feasible and can be implemented more easily.
To accommodate the use cases of both tokens in one IP3, we hereby announce that IP3 token will be getting a new contract and its total supply will be split 1:70 and become 21 billion.
Why 21 billion?
- Well, we are 1,000 times more fun than Bitcoin
- It’s half the coolest number in the universe 42
- We effectively abandon decimals and lower the IP3 accessibility threshold for traders

Q1: Will the old IP3 tokens be traded in the future?
A: No. We plan to pursue listing on both CEX and DEX only for new IP3.
Q2: What tokens are used for OOZ Spaceship Reveal?
A: We plan to offer Spaceship Reveal service only with new IP3.
Q3: What happens to the 1M IP3 reward in the ongoing IP3 airdrop campaign?
A: The IP3 airdrop scheduled for May 2024 through CRIPCO Leaderboard will be distributed in new IP3. Therefore, the IP3 reward pool will be changed to 70M instead of 1M.
Q4: When will the new IP3 be listed?
A: We are in discussions with multiple CEXs. We will update you soon.
Q5: What happens to IPD, the governance token?
A: The IPD token plan will be canceled. The new IP3 token will also function as a governance token.
Q6: What is the relationship between WARP3 and IP3?
A: WARP3 is a platform being prepared by CRIPCO. We are planning the best benefits for holders by making IP3 the value asset of WARP3. We will release details along with WARP3 development progress.
